Your Moissanite Jewelry Warranty 

When you shop at Tiamo Gem, your moissanite jewelry has two warranties.

LIFETIME STONE WARRANTY

Our moissanite gemstones will never turn cloudy or lose their color, and we guarantee that they will keep their brilliance for decades to come. If you believe there is an issue with your stone, please contact us immediately so we can evaluate the situation. If it’s determined to be a defect, we’ll replace it at no cost.  

COMPLIMENTARY ONE-YEAR WARRANTY

This warranty covers any manufacturer defects. While these are rare, they’re most likely to appear within the first 2-3 months, and defects beyond this are most likely due to wear and tear or misuse. If you believe there is a manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately so we can find a solution.

At Tiamo Gem, we have the right to refuse any replacement requests if we believe that the piece has been intentionally damaged or misused. In the event that a manufacturing defect is found to be present, we may choose to issue a refund upon approval from our team.

Also included in this warranty are the replacement and re-setting of stones smaller than 2.5mm, one free resizing (not including eternity bands), and unlimited jewelry cleanings within reason.

Please note that if the jewelry needs to be shipped back to us for inspection or repair, you are responsible for the initial shipping fee. If the item is found to have a manufacturer defect, we will fix it and issue a refund for the shipping fee. The repaired item will then be shipped back to you free of charge within the first year.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR WARRANTY

  • Please be aware that damage resulting from intentional actions or misuse is not covered under our policy. Examples of such damage include wearing your jewelry while participating in physical activities or handling chemicals, doing chores, overexposure to moisture or sunlight for extended periods of time, or wearing it in the hot tub or while swimming. Additionally, mishandling such as pulling or knocking the stones or prongs, sleeping with your jewelry on, or leaving it outside the box or pouch can also result in damage that is not covered under our policy. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs as a result of not following the proper care instructions.

  • Theft and loss are also not covered under our warranty. Contact your insurance provider for more information on protecting your jewelry.

  • Damages caused by another jeweler are not covered. If you decide to take your piece elsewhere for repair or cleaning, your warranty becomes instantly void.

  • Resetting or replacing stones larger than 2.5mm incurs additional costs. For this, we ask that you bring back the ring and any stones that have fallen out, if found, so our team can assess the situation on a per-case basis. If the stones are not found or cannot be brought back, additional costs may apply. Please note that any shipping charges to and from our office past the 1-year warranty mark are the responsibility of the customer. If you need to ship your item back to us after the first year, please contact us for further information and instructions.

  • Resetting or replacing stones smaller than 2.5mm once the one-year period has ended is also not included. This service is available at an additional cost.
